Abstract

The paper deals briefly with the chemistry and formulation of polysulfide liquid polymers. It is primarily concerned with areas of application and performance of compounds based on the various liquid polymers. Criteria for the use of polysulfide sealants in the aircraft, automotive, building, and marine industries are given along with some case histories.
