Abstract

Aqueous effluents from a coal gasification operation and from a geothermal energy process were analyzed using established procedures. The results of the analysis for metals by spark source mass spectrometry are given. This report stresses the identification of organic compounds in the sample by combined gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and computerized spectral matching techniques.
