Abstract
The results of a study of delamination in two quasi-isotropic graphite-epoxy laminates are reported. Experimental observations are compared with predictions of laminate theory using the approach of Pagano and Pipes. The influence of stacking sequence is discussed. The relationship of delamination to other damage development is described, and the influence of gripping methods is indicated.
