Abstract

SCEPTER® (common name: imazaquin) is a soybean selective herbicide which may be applied preplant incorporated, preemergence or postemergence. It is a member of a class of imidazolinone carboxylic acid herbicides discovered at American Cyanamid. SCEPTER is effective in most soybean regions of the United States; thus a robust formulation was required to maintain product homogeneity and integrity for storage in a wide range of climatic conditions.
