Abstract

This paper discusses the advancements in formulation technologies of Water Dispersible Granules. Historically, technicals had to meet certain criteria in order to be formulated as Water Dispersible Granules. This criteria generally excluded all technicals with melting points below 60°C or highly volatile technicals. Over the past several years developments in formulation technology and the EPA's position on solvents has changed the perspective of the formulator. This paper addresses methods of formulating Dry Flowables with low melting or liquid technicals. This paper discusses what happens to nontraditional technicals when several different methods of agglomeration are utilized.
