    Abstract

Within the framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Coordinated Research Program (CRP) phase III, radiation embrittlement studies were performed on A533,C1.1 and A508,C1.3 reactor pressure vessel steels. Obtained results are compared with radiation embrittlement of 15Ch2NMFAA commercially produced steel, used for WWER-1000 reactor pressure vessel production, in terms of Charpy impact energies and fracture toughness, measured as a function of temperature.

    Keywords:

radiation embrittlement, reactor pressure vessel steels, ASTM A533B, Cl.1, ASTM A508, C1.3, 15Ch2NMFAA type steel, Charpy impact energy, fracture toughness, transition temperature shift
