Nondestructive inspections are increasingly called upon to follow foreign and international codes. In many cases the user is not familiar with the required inspection procedures and parameter checks. A guideline about procedures and checks for magnetic particle inspection has been published by the German Society of Nondestructive Testing (DGZfP). The following brief version includes additional comments on future developments in standardization.
