Your attendance at this symposium suggests that you have unique intrests with in the NDT technology. many of our colleagues probably consider our enthusiastic involvement in the standards writing process as strange- perhaps even a sympton of mental derangement. I know that most of my associates at Battle who are actively engaged in research and development work cannot understand why I am so committed to standards writing when I could be in the laboratory doing something “useful.”
