View License Agreement Experimental results from fire tests conducted with well-defined fire sources in large enclosures are presented which demonstrate the applicability of previously derived relationships to heat/smoke transport and smoke characterization within enclosure environments. Smoke concentrations are found to be conserved quantities which are readily predicted from fire source quantification. While the impact of forced ventilation needs to be further addressed, ventilation is shown to have a significant effect on fuel combustion chemistry. | ||
