Abstract

Four large-scale solidification/stabilization demonstrations have occurred under EPA's SITE program. In general, physical testing results have been acceptable. Reduction in metal leachability, as determined by the TCLP test, has been observed. Reduction in organic leachability has not been determined since only low levels of organics have been leached from the raw waste utilizing the TCLP test.
