Abstract

A study is described comparing thermospray LC/MS and Particle Beam LC/MS techniques. The two systems are examined on the basis of applicability, quantitative and qualitative performance. On the basis of this study, the conclusions are drawn that the two techniques are roughly equivalent in both applicability, and quantitative performance, but generate different types of spectral information.
