Abstract

Cleaning a surface exposed to harsh or sensitive environments during manufacture or in the field constitutes an interesting challenge. The need arises in industries ranging from microelectronics (equipment), aerospace (space vehicles and aircraft), nuclear (utilities and weapons), and chemicals. In all these industries, maintainability and reliability are of critical importance.
