Fracture Behaviour of Subclad Cracks

Source

An approximate calculation method for stress-intensity factors at the deepest point of finite-length subclad cracks accounting for plastic deformation of the cladding was reported elsewhere. An extension of this method for the part of the crack front near to interface and for infinitely long cracks is described in the first part of this paper. The second part of the paper deals with some applications of this calculation method.
