Abstract
Thermal neutron analysis (TNA™) explosive detection systems (EDS) have been in operation in John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York (from September 1989) and in Miami International Airport (from January 1990). Based on the experience gained from these real-life examples, it is clear that TNA technology is suitable for full-scale deployment in airports.
