Abstract

This paper describes a laboratory test system in which droplet evaporation data are generated from experiments conducted entirely within a controlled environment chamber. Validation of the test system using deionized water is described. Observed results of evaporation as a function of time are compared to the theoretical predictions of the Goering model for a range of temperature, relative humidity and wind speed conditions.
