Abstract

This chapter discusses how the cost of quality is reported, and how the quality system is audited to drive continuous improvement. Examples of critical process indicators (CPIs) are included in a sample Cost of Quality report. System and layered process audits (LPA) are defined and tied to continuous improvement.
