First Paragraph

A work plan for a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is an articulation of those elements partially described in Section 7 of ASTM E 1903 [1], on Developing the Scope of Work. Work plans are generally included in the development of the scope, and thus comprise one of the first components of Phase II ESAs. The work plan describes how the recognized environmental conditions (RECs) identified in the Phase I ESA will be investigated to determine whether there has been a release of hazardous substances or petroleum products at the subject property.
