Abstract

MOUNTING IS A PROCESS IN WHICH THE SPECIMEN, IN ONE WAY OR ANother, is encapsulated to facilitate and often improve the following preparation. The mounting normally takes place after sectioning (for mounting before sectioning, see Section 2.6) and several methods are available.
