Today, with increasing use of exotic coating formulations and the pressing need to satisfy our various environmental concerns, it is becoming more needful to have an effective inspection program. This is not to reflect upon the adequacies or inadequacies of the coating applicator. Instead, the inspection program should fit hand in glove with the intent of the specifications and the ability and reputation of the coating applicator.
