THIS CHAPTER OUTLINES the methods and tools in common use for appHcation of maintenance coatings at power generating facihties. In most cases, a Hquid material is applied in a uniform manner to the surface to be protected. The liquid will then cure to the desired state (rigid, elastomer, etc.) by solvent evaporation, oxidation, catalyzation, or a combination of methods.
