THE PURPOSE OF THIS CHAPTER is to provide general guide lines concerning the foam systems required for both fires and liquid spills and to discuss concerns relating to the use of aqueous foams on chlorosilanes. In addition, this chapter describes the hazards of using only water on chlorosilane fires and spills.
