    Abstract

    Inspection lots that are formed from the products or materials produced from two or more streams of a manufacturing industry may be heterogeneous with respect to some quality characteristic. In such cases, lot quality may not be of the same kind, rather a mixture of several kinds, and, hence, a mixture of distributions is an appropriate model to study the quality of such heterogeneous lots. This paper presents a study on the evaluation of a single sampling plan by attributes through its operating characteristic function under the conditions of mixture of two binomial and Poisson distributions.
