The Annealability Testing of Copper

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide an update of the report previously presented by the task group in 1965. Test methods are presented which assess the suitability of copper for application requiring “low annealing” copper. The results of the study should be viewed, not as recommendations, but as notes of caution to be considered when one embarks on the establishment of process control tests for annealability.
