[The Symposium on the Fitting of Footwear, held 27 April 1987 in Cincinnati, Ohio, was sponsored by ASTM Committee F-13 on Safety and Traction for Footwear. Arthur Trott and B. Everett Gray served as chairmen. Six papers from the symposium are presented in this issue of Journal of Testing and Evaluation; Mr. Trott has provided a brief Introduction.—Editor]
