Basic Principles of Contaminant Transfer Modeling

Abstract

Transport processes of contaminants in soil and ground-water are dependent on the aqueous chemistry and soil/water characteristics. The mathematical formulations for the study of such processes are presented with particular reference to contaminants that are immiscible with water.
