Abstract
In this paper, a creep resistance comparison of high-strength low-alloy ASTM A618 steel with stainless steel AISI 316L has been considered. Stress versus strain diagrams, the curves related to temperature effects on mechanical properties, as well as creep behavior curves for both of mentioned steels are presented. Material elongation curves and the rheological simulation of creep response are also provided. Experimental investigations have been made using modern computer-directed material testing system.
