Nomograph for Determining Corrosion Rate in Wire Coil Tests

Abstract

A nomograph has been devised that will allow a rapid solution to the equation outlined in the ASTM Test for Corrosivity of Water in the Absence of Heat Transfer (Weight Loss Methods) (D 2688-70). Test procedures are described, and instructions for the use of the nomograph are provided.
