Anschel, J

Abstract

Particulate matter in parenteral solutions has been a problem not readily solved. Efforts are being made to identify and possibly eliminate existing problems by exploring available methods and instruments and by analyzing current data. The selection of glass, the methods of handling glass containers, the methods and machines for washing the containers, and the sterilization process are important areas of concern. Suggestions for standard procedures and specifications are presented.
