Abstract
Computer programs that accurately predict the performance of one's chromatograph considerably shorten the interval between an analysis request and the final report by eliminating laboratory time spent in “cut and try” attempts at finding the right column and analysis conditions. Examples are presented of a program used to quickly design the optimum column or columns and conditions for multiple application scenarios.
