Abstract

A new solvent for agricultural formulation use is described. The solvent, an amide derived from a short chain fatty acid and morpholine, has many desirable physical and chemical properties. In addition to the physical and chemical properties, this paper will present the theoretical Hansen solubility parameters, and present data on solubility of selected agricultural chemicals in the solvent. Briefly, TSCA and FIFRA regulatory requirements for the solvent are covered.
