Masonry Repairs at Cheshire Mill No. 1, Harrisville, New Hampshire

Abstract
The first modern-day application of Rosendale natural cement mortars in a significant historic restoration is described. The background of Cheshire Mill No. 1 in Historic Harrisville, New Hampshire, the analyses of its original mortar composition, and the successful use of natural cement for in-kind repointing are detailed.
