Quantitative Analysis of Organic Pigments in Forensic Paint Examination

Abstract

A method is used to determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of small paint samples (7–15 micrograms) containing different phthalocyanine (copper and metal-free) pigments and their mixture using visible spectrophotometry.
