    Abstract

A case involving a delusional misidentification syndrome associated with homicide is presented. The anglophonic literature concerning delusional misidentification and homicide is reviewed. Delusional misidentification may be a risk factor for potential violence toward others, including homicide of a delusionally misidentified person.
