Abstract

These two volumes are valuable for anyone seeking complete reference materials on coca and cocaine. The introduction includes the history, structural aspects, metabolites, and stereochemical compounds of coca and cocaine. Just over 4000 annotated citations are included, from 1950 through 1986. These citations are from chemical, biologic, pharmacologic, botanic, psychologic, sociologic, medical, legal, and treatment literature.
