Abstract

Aqueous humor glucose and body temperature are utilized to estimate the postmortem interval. Sequential sampling of a 15-deer control study provided sufficient data to establish a 95% prediction interval for the first 8 h. Statistical analysis of 187-deer field study shows 94.7% to be inside the prediction interval.
