Abstract

A new, simple, and rapid method for phenotyping carbonic anhydrase-2 (CA2) on bloodstains 15 weeks old was performed. Separation of the CA² isozymes was accomplished by cellulose acetate electrophoresis. The staining substrate was fluorescein diacetate.
