    Abstract

    A computer based digital analyzer was used to evaluate the time domain ultrasonic waveforms of Fiber FP reinforced magnesium and aluminum composites. Digital amplitude signature evaluation was correlated with photomicrographic examination to provide a quantitative base for transducer selection and implementation of advanced signal and image processing techniques.
