Abstract
Compression test methods for evaluating the ultimate compression strength of composite materials have been reviewed for the purpose of guidance in the future development of a standardized test methodology. Test considerations, including approximate specimen and test fixture configurations and loading configurations, have been examined to assess the state of the art for compression tests.
