The following papers in this issue were presented at an ASTM Committees C01 and C09 Symposium on Developments in Test Methods for Alkali-Silica Reaction held in December 1998 in Nashville. The symposium was organized at the suggestion of Leslie J. Struble, chairman of Subcommittee C09.26, Chemical Reactions.
