Abstract

Large panel building roofs using prestressed short cylindrical panel-shells with dimensions of 3 by 12, 3 by 18, and 3 by 24 m developed in the U.S.S.R. are presented in this paper, and their technical and economic advantages in comparison with other roofs are shown.
