Abstract
AC impedance techniques have been recently applied to investigate the electrical properties of hydrating cement pastes. A review of recent applications of AC impedance spectroscopy (ACIS) in cementitious materials studies including some relevant applications to microstructural characterization, silica fume content estimation, W-C ratio determination and microcracking of cement paste are presented.
