1. Scope

1.1 This practice addresses the selection of test conditions for accelerated exposure testing of exterior coatings for use with various industrial, recreational, agricultural vehicles and related equipment. Such equipment includes, but is not limited to, construction vehicles, farm vehicles, RV
equipment, lawn tractors, motorcycles and related after-market products. A conrolled irradiance, xenon arc device that complies with Practices G151 and G155 shall be used. The practice also addresses the preparation of test specimens, the test conditions suited for coatings, and the evaluation of test results.
