1. Scope
1.1 This test method covers the determination of dimensional changes and distortion likely to occur when pile floor coverings are exposed to various conditions of moisture and heat. 1.2 This test method is applicable to all pile floor coverings in carpet modular form and other pile floor coverings that are similar. 1.3 This test method is not applicable to pile yarn floor covering that is recommended for installation over a separate cushion.
