1. Rationale
To clarify that handles are considered handgripping components.
The loading strap was added to allow an alternate loading method for unique play elements such as climbing rocks, handles and so forth.
The additional verbiage was added to clarify the test method and to more clearly address the hazard of a finger getting caught in a hole or slot in a relatively thin material. A thicker material does not pose the same danger.
The change makes certain that handholds and other types of climbers that are not necessarily a rung or a step are tested.
