1. Scope
This practice covers minimum requirements for the design and manufacture of reciprocating engines for unmanned aircraft systems.
No existing standard for UAS reciprocating engines. Manufacturers of unmanned aircraft systems, including the engine, need design and manufacturing standards such as this.
