1. Scope
This practice establishes the minimum requirements for the development of a Continued Operational Safety Monitoring for Light Unmanned Airplane Systems.
There is no existing standards covering the Continued Operational Safety Monitoring of Light unmanned airplane systems in existing FAA regulations. Manufacturers and operators of UAS will use this as the standard for Continued Operational Safety Monitoring. The manufacturers and operators of UAS will use this standard.
