1. Scope
1.1 This performance specification establishes information for manufacture, construction, and maintenance and provides a safety performance specification for sculpted foam equipment. The purpose is to reduce life-threatening and debilitating injuries.
1.2 This specification is designed to be used in wet and dry areas:
1.2.1 For dry environments, the range of users is 5th percentile 6th month old to the 95th percentile 5 year old.
1.2.2 For wet environments, the range of users is the 5th percentile 2 year old to the 95th percentile 12 year old.
No standard is currently available for this product. Dry play is found in malls, airports, fast-food resturants, and amusement parks. Wet is found in water parks and spray areas.
