1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers the composition and physical properties of thermoplastic polyester loose-fill fiber thermal insulation for use in attics or enclosed spaces in housing and other framed buildings where temperatures do not exceed 160¬F.
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values in parentheses are provided for information only.
