1. Scope
1.1 This Standard Practice provides minimum workmanship requirements for unit masonry construction. Workmanship requirements that are intended to ensure the structural performance of unit masonry can be found in Specification for Masonry Structures (ACI 530.1/ASCE 6/TMS 602).
1.2 The values stated in inch/pound units are to be regarded as the standard. Values in parentheses are for information only and may be approximate.
1.3 This Standard Practice does not purport to address safety concerns associated with its use.
