    WK46436

    1. Rationale

A user of test method ASTM D4970 pointed out that modern Martindales are capable of performing two separate lissajous sizes. He asked that the standard have wording to clarify the correct size of lissajous for this standard. In addition to this members of the Pilling task group discussed fuzzing and clarification is required in how to assess fuzzing especially taking into account the level of fuzz on the base fabric.
